Also, job interview on monday :D
I feel a bit clumsy now. Fortunately, the boss isn't here at the moment and is away til the 21st. So what I will do is go tomorrow and buy a new frame to put the photos in and write him a note apologising.
Somehow, knowing him, I expect that this was more expensive than a £2.99 photo frame from woolies.. but you know, he made me redundant, so a £2.99 frame from woolies is probably as good as he'll get as a replacement :P
2. I respond by asking you five personal questions so I can get to know you better.
3. You will update your LJ with the answers to the questions.

1) If you had to pick one without worrying about cost or time constraints(and had the energy to do so), would you choose horse riding or sailing as a hobby?
Horse riding. I did it when I was little and used to love it, then there was foot and mouth and cos we couldn't go into the forest I ended up not going cos without hacking it wasn't as fun. My entire family sail, I get horribly seasick and don't enjoy it at all.
2) Which is the favourite of all the places you've visited (location, not people please), and why?
Kenya. Because it was awesome. Completely alien to anything you really get in the UK. Where we camped the first few nights you could hear the lions and giraffe and buffalo (and once a hippo) wandered through the camp whilst we slept. Second place was like a luxury hotel inna tent.
3) Do you read poetry?
Not really. I think because we over analysed it at school its put me off for a while. I can enjoy it, every so often, but I couldn't sit and read it.
4) Tell me about your favourite book (that isn't written by Terry Pratchet ;) ?
Remarkably tough... I think one of the best books I've ever read is Jessica by Bryce Courtney, though. It is about a girl in the australian outback who is destroyed by her mother and sister because the person they'd picked out for the sister falls for Jessica instead. She is effectively exiled but never completely broken, though in the end driven half mad. I haven't read it in far too long, because I dont have a copy of my own, the copy I read belongs to my dad.
5) What was the best meal you ever ate?
oooh another hard one. Some of the best -food- I've had was on my 18th birthday when we went to a michalen star resturant with my dad. Absolutely GORGEOUS food. Twice baked cheese souffle, Cod on crushed potatos with a poached egg, spinach (iirc) and butter sauce, and chocolate something-very-tasty, lots of good wine, champagne etc etc. Best meals for ambience are usually family ones, Im very lucky that my family get on well and my mum is a fantastic cook. Even if my grandad does get argumentative when drunk.
Having said that, sitting round a campfire with a plate of curry cooked inna giant pot at tentmeet is also up there with one of my favourite meals I've had for atmosphere.
As lame as it sounds I am really proud of myself today. I phoned a list of solicitors to chase up legal packs, I even left messages asking them the return my calls without panicking.
It might sound weird to some of you that Im proud of this, but a year ago I probably would've done anything I could to get out of having to do that. Even six months ago it would've panicked me a bit. I have pretty much always been ok with answering the phone and talking but phoning people, particularly to ask for things made me uncomfortable.
So, go me!
ION: after having the house to myself for the long weekend my mum returns home today. I was quite enjoying the peace.
Is not an acceptable temperature for an office to be.
I should not have to sit in my coat to stop shivering, also, whoever's bloody stupid idea it was to have 1 thermostat control the air con of 5 offices may you rot. I bet you're responsible for the thermostat being stuck at such a low temperature too.
I asked if I could turn it up, I was told no in case people in other offices got too warm. 1 degree would make me feel better :(
How I hate thee for attacking me at work and making me cry.
Though, you did cause my boss to reconsider his decision to not give me time off work to go see himself.
Maybe you are good for something....
I feel like a bit of an idiot now though.
Edited cos Grissom pointed out that I 'd highlighted that I'd buried on of my parents. I havent. Except maybe in sand at the beach.

It means I will probably not get a day off as -well- as the funeral either. Which sucks, going to a funeral isnt my idea of a day off.
I guess I will just do very little work that day and probably take a long lunch, since I was supposed to go out to lunch with family that day as it was.
Type in your answers to Google Images and pick an image off of the first page.
1) it will cost me double to get to work and require 2 buses.
2) I probably will not be able to mud from work due to 3)
3) I will have to share an office with my boss making stealth mudding harder.
4) I will have no where viable to go at lunch time. Where we're moving to is in a business park where the hospital is and the only place to buy food is a petrol station.
I think I am going to need to get off my arse and learn to drive. But that is expensive aswell.
